For product development, better to stick with Java native stack to get better maintainability down the line.
Ready to use frameworks saves time initially, but later causes issues with interoparability with other libraries and Java versions. Also they can sell that company or shutdown. Proper analysis needs to be done while selecting third party libraries.

Elasticsearch: http://elasticsearch.com/ – Worth using this product for better intelligent search. Applicable for all projects.
Kibana – http://www.elasticsearch.org/overview/kibana/ – Good for log pooling and search
